Transferring Community Group Ownership

You can now transfer ownership of a community group to another member of your agency who has access to the location. This is useful if you manage groups for clients and want to hand over control so they appear as the official owner.

How to Transfer Ownership

To transfer group ownership:

1. Navigate to the specific community group you wish to transfer.
2. Locate the option to transfer ownership, typically found in the group's settings or management area.
3. Select a new owner from the list of available agency members associated with the location.
4. Confirm the transfer to complete the process. The selected member will become the new owner, and your name will no longer be listed as the creator.

Related Features

As an agency user, you can also log into a group as a specific contact. If more than one contact is associated with your agency or location user, a list will appear. Clicking on a contact from this list will log you into the group as that individual.

Additionally, clicking on the owner's name displayed on the group card will open the contact's smartlist page in the CRM.
