Set an Offer Expiry Date or Start Date
Overview
The CRM allows you to control when your offers become active and when they expire. You can set a fixed access period that begins when a member signs up, such as 6 months, 2 months, 1 week, or even a single day. Once the time period ends, access is automatically revoked. Alternatively, you can specify a start date for the offer, ensuring it activates on a predetermined day. This is ideal for managing memberships, pre-sales, or product launches.
Set an Expiry Date
To set an expiry date for your offer, follow these steps:
Step 1: Define Access Duration
Navigate to the offer setup page for the offer you want to modify or create a new one. In the offer details, locate the section labeled Offer Access. Select the checkbox for Restrict access to specific amount of days. Enter the number of days you want the offer to remain active after a member signs up. For example, enter 180 for 6 months (assuming 30-day months), 60 for 2 months, 7 for 1 week, or 1 for a single day.
Step 2: Save and Apply
Review your settings to ensure they are correct, then save your changes. Once saved, publish the offer to apply the access duration. The timer will start from each member's individual sign-up date.
Set a Start Date
To set a specific start date for your offer, follow these steps:
Step 1: Define Start Date
Navigate to the offer setup page for the offer you want to modify or create a new one. In the offer details, locate the section labeled Offer Access. Select the checkbox for Begin access at specific date. Enter the date when you want the offer to become active.
How It Works
If a user signs up before the start date, they will be directed to the course page but will not be able to access lessons or content—only the overview will be visible. Access begins automatically on the specified date.
Combining Both Options
You can choose to set only an expiry date, only a start date, or both together. If both are set, access begins on the start date and expires after the specified number of days from that date.
