Exporting Email Marketing Data

You can export your email marketing statistics from the CRM as a CSV file. This allows you to download performance data for in-depth analysis in spreadsheet applications, share reports with your team or clients, and keep records outside the platform. Exports can include data from campaigns, workflows, and bulk email sends, with secure download links delivered directly to your email inbox.

Benefits of Exporting Email Data

Exporting your email statistics offers several advantages for managing and analyzing your marketing efforts.

  • Centralized Data Access: Download performance metrics directly from the unified Email Statistics dashboard instead of gathering data from multiple places.
  • Flexible Reporting: Choose to export data for all email activity or focus on specific sources like campaigns, workflows, or bulk sends.
  • Simplified Analysis: Open the CSV file in programs like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for custom calculations, charts, and reports.
  • Easy Sharing: Download links are sent via email, making it simple to distribute reports to stakeholders.
  • Secure Delivery: The download links for your exported files are valid for 30 days, ensuring secure and time-limited access.
  • Export Tracking: A Recent Exports area lets you see when files were generated and by whom.

Types of Email Performance Exports

You can generate exports for different scopes of email activity, depending on your reporting needs.

  • All Campaigns: Exports statistics for all email activity visible in the Email Statistics dashboard, including campaigns, workflows, and bulk sends.
  • Email Marketing Campaigns Only: Exports performance metrics specifically for campaigns created in the Marketing section.
  • Workflows Only: Exports performance data for individual email actions that are part of your workflows.
  • Bulk Actions Only: Exports statistics for emails sent using the bulk actions feature in the Contacts section.

Recent Exports

The Recent Exports area provides a record of the export files you have generated. It helps you confirm that an export was completed successfully and review recent reporting activity. Export records are stored for 30 days. For each export, you can typically see:

  • The export file name or description
  • The type of export (e.g., Campaigns, Workflows)
  • The user who created the export
  • The date and time the export was generated
  • The status of the export (e.g., Completed)
