Tracking Video Viewer Progress on Funnel Pages

Tracking Viewer Progress on Hosted Videos

You can monitor how visitors interact with videos embedded in your funnels and websites. This feature allows you to trigger automated workflows based on specific video completion percentages, enabling targeted follow-up actions when viewers reach certain points in your content.

Preparing Your Video for Progress Tracking

Before setting up tracking, ensure your video is properly configured:

  • Your video must be properly encoded and hosted within the CRM's video system to appear in the workflow trigger filters
  • For accurate progress monitoring, disable the progress bar in your video element settings to prevent viewers from skipping backward or forward
  • Consider setting up redirects for unregistered visitors to maintain tracking consistency

Setting Up Video Tracking Workflows

Create automated responses based on viewer engagement:

  1. Navigate to your Workflows section and create a new workflow
  2. Select the Video Tracking trigger from the available options
  3. Choose the specific video you want to monitor from the dropdown menu
  4. Set the completion percentage threshold that will activate the workflow
  5. Build your desired automation sequence that will trigger when viewers reach your specified progress point

Important: The accuracy of video tracking depends heavily on disabling the progress bar. Leaving it enabled may interfere with proper progress measurement and workflow triggering.
