How to Create Quizzes for Membership Courses

Creating Quizzes for Your Membership Courses

Quizzes, also known as assessments, are a powerful way to test your learners' understanding and track their progress within your membership courses. You can create custom quizzes with various question types, set passing scores, and review results through built-in analytics.

Benefits of Using Quizzes

Adding quizzes to your courses helps measure learning, reinforce key concepts, and provide personalized feedback. They are ideal for certification programs or multi-module courses where tracking comprehension is essential.

  • Gauge learner progress and knowledge retention
  • Set passing criteria to establish learning benchmarks
  • Offer immediate feedback based on quiz performance
  • Allow multiple attempts and answer reviews
  • Monitor submissions and results through analytics
  • Increase engagement with interactive content

Setting Up a Quiz in Your Course

Follow these steps to add a quiz to your membership course.

Accessing Your Course Products

From the left menu, select Memberships, then choose Products from the dropdown under Courses. This opens your library of membership courses.

Selecting a Course

On the Products page, you’ll see a list of your courses. Click on the course where you want to add the quiz.

Adding Quiz Content

Inside the course, navigate to the category or section where you want the quiz. Click + Add Content and select Add Quiz from the options.

Configuring Quiz Settings

After creating the quiz, click the edit (pencil) icon to open the quiz editor. Here you can:

  • Enter a Quiz Title for learners to see
  • Enable This quiz requires passing grade and set a Passing Grade percentage if needed
  • Upload a Quiz Thumbnail image for visual branding
  • Write custom Pass Confirmation Message and Fail Confirmation Message for feedback

Adding Questions

Click Add Question to create quiz questions. You can add single-choice or multiple-choice questions, mark correct answers, and include explanations for each.

Saving and Publishing

Use the buttons at the top right to save your quiz as a draft, preview it, or publish it live. Always remember to save changes before exiting.

After a Quiz Is Submitted

When a learner completes a quiz, their experience depends on your settings:

  • If a passing grade is set, they see their score and which answers were right or wrong, but not the correct answers.
  • If no passing grade is set, they see their score, correct answers, and any explanations you provided.

Reviewing Quiz Results

You can track all quiz submissions and performance metrics through the CRM’s analytics tools, allowing you to assess overall learner progress and identify areas for improvement.
