Configure Wallet Auto Recharge and Smart Adjustment Settings
What Are Auto Recharge and Smart Adjustment?
Auto Recharge automatically adds funds to your CRM wallet when your balance drops below a threshold you set. Smart Adjustment is an intelligent feature that increases your recharge amount when it detects higher usage patterns, helping you maintain uninterrupted service as your business grows.
Note: Auto Recharge cannot be disabled for your wallet. This ensures continuous operation for wallet-funded features like SMS, email, phone usage, and other billable services. While you can disable Smart Adjustment to prevent automatic increases to your recharge amount, Auto Recharge will continue to function based on your configured settings.
Key Benefits
Maintaining a funded wallet provides several advantages beyond convenience:
- Uninterrupted Service: Avoid disruptions to SMS, email, and phone services due to insufficient funds
- Time Savings: Eliminate manual deposits and focus on revenue-generating activities
- Automatic Scaling: Smart Adjustment increases recharge amounts as your usage grows, reducing frequent recharges
- Budget Control: Configure threshold and recharge amounts for predictable cash flow management
- Flexible Settings: Disable automatic amount increases while keeping essential Auto Recharge active
How Auto Recharge Works
Auto Recharge operates using two simple parameters:
- Recharge Amount: The specific dollar amount added to your wallet when Auto Recharge triggers
- Threshold Balance: The wallet balance that triggers the recharge when reached or exceeded
For example: If you set a recharge amount of $50 and threshold balance of $25, when your wallet balance reaches $24.99, your saved payment method will be charged $50 and the amount will be deposited into your wallet.
How Smart Adjustment Works
Smart Adjustment monitors how frequently Auto Recharge activates. When the same recharge amount triggers more than three times within any seven-day period, your CRM automatically moves you to the next predefined tier (for example, from $200 to $500).
This feature helps reduce potential credit card authorization holds and minimizes risk flag reviews by card issuers as your sending volume increases.
Setting Up Auto Recharge
- Log into your agency account and navigate to Settings
- Go to Billing › Wallet & Transactions
- In the Auto recharge dropdown, select the amount to be added to your wallet
- In the Balance is lower than dropdown, choose the trigger amount
Disabling Smart Adjustment
Important: Disabling Smart Adjustment does not turn off Auto Recharge. It only prevents automatic increases to your recharge amount.
- In the Auto Recharge section, click the three-dot menu on the right
- Select Disable Auto-update
- Confirm your selection by clicking Yes
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I completely disable Wallet Auto Recharge?
No. Wallet Auto Recharge cannot be fully disabled for agency wallets.
How does the system determine the next tier with Smart Adjustment?
It moves to the very next predefined recharge tier (for example: $200 → $500 → $1,000). Custom amounts are not skipped.
Will I receive notifications when Auto Recharge or Smart Adjustment occurs?
Yes. Billing notification emails are sent to agency owner admins by default.
Can I change the Threshold Balance without affecting Smart Adjustment history?
Yes. Adjusting the threshold does not reset your usage count. The three-recharges-in-seven-days rule still applies.
What happens if my saved payment method fails?
The system will retry the charge up to three times over 24 hours and email you after each attempt. Service will pause after the final failure.
Does disabling Smart Adjustment stop future charges?
No. Disabling Smart Adjustment only stops automatic increases to your recharge amount. Auto Recharge will still activate when your wallet balance drops below your configured threshold.
