This article answers common questions about managing affiliate commissions and payouts using the PayPal auto-payout feature within your CRM.

What are the requirements to use the Auto Payout feature?

To enable and use the PayPal auto-payout feature for your affiliates, you must complete two mandatory setup steps:

Integrate a PayPal Business account with your CRM.
Ensure your affiliates have added their PayPal account as their payout method within their affiliate profile.

How do I remove the PayPal button from my funnel or website order forms?

If you have integrated PayPal for affiliate payouts but do not want the PayPal payment option to appear on your customer-facing order forms, you can hide it. Navigate to the Settings tab for the specific funnel or website. In the Head Tracking Code section, paste the following CSS code:

Click Save. This will hide the PayPal button for customers while preserving the PayPal connection for your affiliate payout system.

Who is authorized to process PayPal payouts?

Only users with Agency Admin or Account Admin permissions can initiate and process affiliate payouts using the PayPal auto-payout method.

How are commissions for recurring subscriptions paid out?

When an affiliate earns a commission from a recurring product sale, the payout record is automatically generated in the system. However, for security and authentication reasons, the actual payment is not sent automatically. An admin must manually click the Pay Now button to complete the transaction and send the funds via PayPal.

Why am I unable to pay a specific affiliate via PayPal?

You can only process a PayPal payout for an affiliate who has a valid PayPal account linked to their profile. If an affiliate has not added their PayPal details, you will see an error indicator (like an icon) next to their name with an option to Add Account. You must guide the affiliate to add their PayPal payout method before you can send their commission.
