How to Pay Your Affiliates
Introduction
Your CRM enables you to compensate affiliates using any payment provider or method you prefer, provided you mark the payouts as completed once processed. To simplify and accelerate this task, the platform offers built-in options for automating or streamlining payments.
Available Payout Methods
You can choose from two main approaches:
- Auto Payouts via PayPal: Automate affiliate payments directly from your CRM dashboard using PayPal’s Payouts API. This eliminates the need to log in to PayPal separately or manually mark payouts as paid.
- Bank or Manual Payments: Use banks or other external methods to pay affiliates, then return to your CRM to mark those payouts as paid.
How Payouts Work
Affiliate payout management involves two essential steps:
- Generating payouts automatically based on the commission rules you’ve configured for your campaigns.
- Paying affiliates and marking those payouts as completed, either through automation or manually.
Auto Payouts Using PayPal
The PayPal Payouts API offers a fast, cost-effective way to pay multiple affiliates simultaneously. After a one-time setup, you can securely process payments without leaving your CRM. For setup instructions, consult the dedicated guide on configuring PayPal Auto Payouts.
Paying Affiliates via Bank or Manual Methods
If you prefer using bank transfers or other manual payment methods, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Payouts section in your CRM.
- In the Pending tab, approve the payouts you wish to process.
- Switch to the Approved for Payout tab to view all approved payouts.
- Select individual payouts or use the mass-select option to choose all.
- Click the Pay button.
- Switch to the Bank tab and select the affiliates you are paying.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment externally (e.g., download a CSV for bank processing).
- Once payments are completed through your bank or other method, return to your CRM and click Mark as Paid.
Configuring Payout Methods for Affiliates
You can control which payout methods (e.g., PayPal, Bank Transfer) are available to your affiliates in their portal. To set this up:
- Go to Affiliate Manager → Settings.
- Click Affiliate Portal Settings → Configure Payout Methods.
- Select the payout methods you want to enable.
- Save your changes.
Affiliates will only see the options you’ve enabled, streamlining their experience and reducing confusion.
