Understanding Split Commissions in the Affiliate Program
How Split Commissions Work
The CRM's affiliate program supports split commissions. This feature allows multiple affiliates to earn credit from a single customer's journey.
Here's the core concept: one affiliate can receive commission for referring a new customer, while a different affiliate can earn commission for referring that same customer to a later upgrade or qualified add-on product.
Example Scenario
Imagine a customer signs up for a Starter plan using Affiliate A's referral link. Later, that customer decides to upgrade to a Pro plan, but this time they use a referral link from Affiliate B.
- Affiliate A continues to earn their standard commission for the original Starter plan referral.
- Affiliate B can earn a commission based on the value of the upgrade (the difference between the Pro and Starter plan prices).
This model also applies to upgrades from a Starter plan to an Unlimited plan across two different affiliates.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are split commissions available for the Unlimited plan upgrade?
Yes. Split commission credit is offered for referrals that lead to an upgrade from the Starter plan to the Unlimited plan. To receive credit, the customer must use your specific affiliate link when completing the upgrade.
Can commissions be split three ways across all three plans?
In theory, different affiliates could be involved at each plan tier. If you believe you should have received credit for a multi-affiliate referral but did not, please contact our support team for assistance.
How do I refer someone specifically to upgrade to the Pro plan?
A direct referral link for the Pro plan is available within your affiliate portal. This is the link you should share if your goal is to refer existing customers for an upgrade.
Are there special rules for split commissions?
All commission calculations and payouts, including split commissions, are governed by the official CRM Affiliate Policy. Please review this policy for complete details on terms and conditions.
