Removing a Phone Number from WhatsApp Coexistence
When a phone number is connected to WhatsApp Coexistence, the option to disable the feature might not appear directly within the sub-account settings. This article explains how to disconnect the number.
About WhatsApp Coexistence
WhatsApp Coexistence allows you to continue using your existing WhatsApp Business App on your mobile device while also connecting it to the CRM. This integration leverages the WhatsApp Cloud API to provide advanced features like managing conversations at scale, integrating payments, shipping, and lead management tools.
How to Disconnect
Since the disable option is not available in the CRM sub-account, you must disconnect the integration directly from your WhatsApp Business App on your mobile phone.
- Open the WhatsApp Business App on your mobile device.
- Navigate to the settings or linked devices section for the business account.
- Find the entry for the CRM integration.
- Tap the Disconnect button to remove the link.
Once you disconnect from the mobile app, the phone number will no longer be connected to the CRM via WhatsApp Coexistence.
