Managing Course Notification Preferences in the Client Portal
You can now manage which email notifications your clients receive for events related to your courses directly from the Client Portal settings. This allows you to tailor communications, reduce email clutter for your users, and ensure important course updates are delivered.
Understanding Course Notification Preferences
This feature gives you control over the automated emails sent from your CRM for specific course activities. You can choose to enable or disable different notification types and customize the email templates used for each one, creating a more personalized experience for your clients.
Configuring Course Notifications
Follow these steps to set up your preferences:
- Navigate to your main dashboard.
- Go to Sites > Client Portal > Settings. Alternatively, you may find this under Memberships > Client Portal > Settings.
- Click into the Email Settings section and select Courses.
- You will see a list of different course-related notification types. Use the checkboxes next to each one to enable or disable them.
- To preview what an email for a specific notification will look like, click the eye icon next to it.
- To change the template used for a notification, click the Default Template button. From there, you can select a different existing template or edit the current one directly in the email builder.
Benefits of Managing These Preferences
Focused Communication
By enabling only the most relevant notifications, you help clients stay informed about crucial course milestones without overwhelming their inbox with less important messages.
Personalized Messaging
Customizing the email templates allows you to maintain your brand voice and provide clear, actionable information that encourages client engagement with your course material.
Centralized Control
The Client Portal serves as a single location to manage notifications for various features, including courses, making it easier to maintain a consistent communication strategy across your entire client experience.
