Clear LinkedIn Link Preview Cache Using Post Inspector
Have you shared a link on LinkedIn only to find the preview shows outdated or incorrect information—like a wrong title, description, or image? Even after updating your website with the correct preview content, LinkedIn may continue displaying the old cached version for up to seven days.
To resolve this, LinkedIn provides a tool called Post Inspector that allows you to refresh the cached preview data for any URL.
Steps to Clear LinkedIn Preview Cache
- Go to LinkedIn Post Inspector.
- Enter the URL you want to refresh and click the Inspect button.
- Once the updated preview appears, you can share the link on LinkedIn again—it will now display the current information.
