What Are Facebook Text Posts with Backgrounds?

This feature lets you compose text-only posts for Facebook and apply one of Facebook's native background styles to them. You can write your message, select a background, and schedule or publish the post all from within the Social Planner's post composer.

How to Create a Post

Follow these steps to create a Facebook text post with a background.

1. Navigate to the Social Planner within your CRM and open the post composer.
2. Select Facebook as the channel for your post.
3. Once Facebook is selected, the option for Text Background will appear.
4. Write the text for your post. You can include emojis, hashtags, and @mentions.
5. Click the Text Background option to open the background picker.
6. Cycle through the available preset backgrounds, which include solid colors, gradients, and patterns.
7. As you select different backgrounds, a real-time preview will update to show you exactly how the post will look on Facebook.
8. Once you are happy with the appearance, you can either publish the post immediately or schedule it for a later time.

Important Notes

The background feature is designed specifically for text-only posts. If you add an image or video to the same post, the background option will be automatically disabled to ensure the post is formatted correctly for Facebook.
