About Featured Posts
The Featured Posts feature allows you to highlight important messages within your social channels and on your main timeline. Pinning a post ensures it remains visible at the top of the feed, giving you greater control over the visibility of key announcements or content.
How to Pin a Post as Featured
To feature a post, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the post you wish to feature.
- Click the three-dot menu icon (⋮) on that post.
- From the menu that appears, select the Pin option.
The post will now be marked as featured and will appear in a prominent location.
Where Featured Posts Are Displayed
Featured posts appear in two key areas to maximize their visibility.
In a Channel
When you pin a post within a specific channel, it is fixed to the very top of that channel's feed. Anyone viewing the channel will see this post first, before all other content.
On the Home Timeline
When you pin a post from your main Home Timeline, it is fixed to the top of your personal home feed. This ensures your most important updates are the first thing you see on your dashboard.
How to Unpin a Featured Post
If you need to remove a post's featured status, you can easily unpin it.
- Locate the featured post you want to unpin.
- Click the three-dot menu icon (⋮) on that post.
- Select the Unpin option from the menu.
The post will no longer be featured but will remain in its original chronological position within the feed.
