Finding and Using Global Sections in Your CRM's Page Builder
What Are Global Sections?
Global Sections are a powerful feature within your CRM's Page Builder that allow you to create a section once and use it on multiple pages. When you edit a Global Section, the changes can automatically update on every page where it is placed, ensuring perfect consistency across your website or funnel. This makes them ideal for common page components like headers, footers, testimonials, or call-to-action blocks.
How to Find and Add a Global Section
To add a saved Global Section to your page:
- Open the Page Builder for the page or funnel step you are editing.
- In the left-hand sidebar, click on the Add Elements button.
- Select the Saved Sections option from the menu.
- Click on Global Sections to view your library of reusable sections.
Searching Your Global Sections Library
If you have many saved sections, finding the right one can be time-consuming. To help, a search field is available at the top of the Global Sections panel.
How the Search Works
- As you type into the search box, the list of sections filters in real time.
- You can search using either the full name of a section or just a part of the name.
- The search only looks through your Global Sections. It does not include any locally saved sections from the current page.
This feature makes it much faster to locate and reuse components like a specific header or a testimonial gallery, especially in accounts with extensive design libraries.
Common Questions About Global Sections
Does searching affect my saved sections?
No. The search function is purely for filtering the view. It does not alter, delete, or change any of your existing Global Sections.
Can I search Local Sections this way?
No. The search bar in the Global Sections panel is dedicated to finding Global Sections only. Local Sections are managed separately within the page you are editing.
What hasn't changed with this feature?
This is purely a usability improvement. The core functionality remains the same:
- The process for creating and editing Global Sections is unchanged.
- The way updates sync across pages is unchanged.
- Access permissions for sections are unchanged.
