Using Brand Boards in Funnels and Websites

Overview

Brand Boards are design kits that package your brand’s essential visual elements—such as logos, color palettes, and typography—into a single, reusable resource. Once you create a Brand Board, its assets become available directly within the CRM's funnel and website builder. This integration allows you to apply your approved brand styles with a single click, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all your digital properties.

Key Benefits

Using Brand Boards offers several significant advantages for managing your funnels and websites:

  • Brand Consistency: Easily build and update pages that accurately reflect your brand identity.
  • Time Savings: Streamline your workflow by eliminating the need to manually search for or remember specific color codes.
  • Centralized Access: Your approved colors and fonts are readily accessible within the builder, removing the dependency on external style guides.
  • Simplified Updates: When you modify a Brand Board, the changes automatically populate the selection tools for all new projects within the sub-account, though they do not affect existing pages.

How to Use Brand Boards in Websites and Funnels

Before you begin, you must have a Brand Board created. To learn how, please refer to the related article on creating a Brand Board.

Step 1: Open the Builder

Navigate to your project by selecting Sites from the main navigation bar. Then, using the top navigation ribbon, click on either the Funnels or Websites tab. You can then select an existing site to edit or click the + New Funnel or + New Website button to start a new project.

Step 2: Access the Color Picker

Click on any element on your page that you wish to style, such as text or a button. In the right sidebar, click on a color swatch to open the color picker. For text color, you can also access the picker from the inline toolbar that appears when you select the text.

Step 3: Apply a Brand Board Color

Inside the color picker, the top row will display the colors from your active Brand Board. Simply click on one of these colors to apply it to the selected element. Please note that only the Brand Board currently set as Default will appear in this picker.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will updating a Brand Board automatically change existing colors in my funnels or websites?

No. Changes made to a Brand Board will not be applied retroactively to pages that were already created.

How can I set a default Brand Board for new projects?

Go to MarketingBrand Boards. Click the three-dot menu next to the board you wish to use and select Set as Default. This board will then be applied by default to all new funnels and websites.

Why aren’t my Brand Board colors showing up in the color picker?

Brand Board colors will only appear if a Brand Board is actively applied to the site. Go to the Design tab within the builder and ensure a Brand Board is selected.

Can I have multiple Brand Boards in one sub-account?

Yes, you can create multiple Brand Boards. However, only one can be set as the default at any given time.

What happens if I delete a Brand Board?

Any styling that was applied using the board's colors will remain on your pages, but the board itself will be removed from the color pickers and can no longer be selected.
