Using the QR Code Element in Page Builder

What is the QR Code Element?

The QR Code element is a feature within the CRM's Page Builder that allows you to place a scannable QR code on any website or funnel page. This code can be linked to a variety of destinations, such as another page within your site, a calendar booking link, a form, a survey, a payment link, or an external web address. You can select an existing QR code from your library or create a new one directly from the builder interface.

Key Benefits of the QR Code Element

  • Integrated Creation and Editing: You can create a new QR code or modify an existing one without leaving the page editor.
  • Destination Preview: The element clearly displays the URL the QR code points to, allowing you to verify it is correct.
  • Deleted Code Handling: If a previously selected QR code has been removed from your library, the system will alert you and prompt you to choose a new one.
  • Location Awareness: The element identifies if a QR code belongs to a different location within your CRM, helping you maintain organization.
  • Flexible Design: You can easily resize and reposition the QR code element to fit your page layout for both desktop and mobile views.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are my QR codes stored?

QR codes are saved in your location's QR code library. You can manage them from the dedicated QR builder screens or from the inline editor in the Page Builder element.

Do I need to republish my page after changing a QR code?

Yes. Any updates to the QR code's destination, or if you select a different QR code, require you to publish or update the page for the changes to take effect for your visitors.

What happens if my selected QR code is deleted?

The element will notify you that the QR code is missing and prompt you to select a replacement from your library or create a new one. You must then republish the page.

Can I use a QR code from a different location?

While you can select a QR code from another location, the element will clearly label it as such. For better management, it is recommended to use a QR code that belongs to the current location.
