Facebook Conversion API Workflow Trigger Not working
Facebook Conversion API Workflow Trigger Not Working
If your Facebook Conversion API workflow trigger isn't activating, the issue may be related to how you're testing it. The test button within the workflow editor does not work for Facebook Conversion API triggers. Instead, you must publish your workflow and test using actual events that occur in your CRM.
To properly test your trigger, save and publish your workflow, then use one of these input triggers to generate a real event:
- Form Submission
- Survey Submission
- Appointment Submission (from a booking widget)
- 2-Step Order Form Submission
When using appointment-related triggers, ensure you select the specific trigger for appointment bookings from a widget, not the general appointment trigger. The correct trigger is typically named something like "Customer Booked Appointment," which is designed for widget submissions.
Additionally, if you're using the Purchase event in your Facebook Conversion API setup, you must provide a lead value. For other event types, the lead value field can be left blank.
