Getting Started with Affiliate Automations

Streamlining Your Affiliate Program with Automations

Affiliate Manager Automations allow you to use workflows to handle routine tasks, saving you time and ensuring your affiliate program runs smoothly. By setting up the following key automations, you can manage your affiliates more effectively and focus on strategic growth.

1. Affiliate Created Workflow Trigger

This trigger starts a workflow whenever a new affiliate is added to your sub-account.

How to Set It Up:

  • Navigate to the workflow creation screen and select Add New Workflow Trigger.
  • Search for and choose the Affiliate Created trigger.
  • Save the trigger to activate it.

How It Works: This trigger automatically activates your workflow the instant a new affiliate is created. For example, if you launch a sign-up campaign, every new affiliate who joins will immediately be processed by your automated workflow, eliminating the need for manual entry.

2. Add to Affiliate Manager

This action automatically adds a contact to your Affiliate Manager list with an active status.

How It Works: Once the workflow runs, the contact is instantly registered as an active affiliate. For instance, when a new partner completes an application, they are seamlessly added to your active affiliate roster, accelerating their onboarding.

3. Update Affiliate

This action allows you to change an affiliate’s status to either active or inactive.

Supported Options:

  • Mark as Active
  • Mark as Inactive

Example: If an affiliate has been inactive for a predefined period, you can configure a workflow to automatically set their status to inactive, helping you maintain an accurate and up-to-date affiliate list.

4. Add to Affiliate Campaign

This automation enrolls an affiliate into a specific campaign within the Affiliate Manager.

How It Works: When the workflow executes, it adds the affiliate to a campaign you select from a dropdown list. For example, when you launch a new promotional campaign, all eligible active affiliates can be automatically enrolled, ensuring immediate and widespread participation.

5. Remove from Affiliate Campaign

This action removes an affiliate from a chosen campaign.

How It Works: Select the campaign from a dropdown menu to specify where the affiliate should be removed. For instance, if an affiliate no longer meets the criteria for a campaign, this automation can instantly remove them, keeping your campaign lists clean and relevant.

By implementing these automations, you can efficiently manage your affiliate relationships, reduce manual administrative tasks, and scale your program with confidence.
