Using the TikTok Form Submitted Workflow Trigger

Overview

The TikTok Form Submitted trigger allows you to automatically start a workflow whenever a user submits a form you've created and embedded in your TikTok presence. This is an excellent way to capture leads, collect survey responses, or gather any other information from your TikTok audience and immediately begin a follow-up process.

How to Configure the Trigger

Select the Trigger

When building or editing a workflow, navigate to the trigger selection area. From the list of available triggers, choose TikTok Form Submitted.

Name Your Trigger

Give your trigger a clear, descriptive name. This helps you identify its purpose later. For example, you might name it "TikTok Lead Capture" or "Customer Feedback from TikTok".

Apply Filters

To ensure the workflow only runs for specific form submissions, you can apply a filter. The primary filter available is In Form.

  • In Form (Mandatory): Use this dropdown menu to select the exact TikTok form that, when submitted, will activate this workflow. This allows you to create different workflows for different forms.

Example Use Case

Imagine you want to automatically thank users who provide feedback via a TikTok form and then tag their contact record.

Trigger Name: "TikTok Feedback Thank You"

Filter:

  • In Form: "TikTok Feedback Form" (This ensures the workflow only runs when this specific form is submitted).

Sample Workflow Steps:

  1. Trigger: TikTok Form Submitted (configured as above).
  2. Action: Send an automated email to the contact, thanking them for their feedback.
  3. Action: Update the contact's profile by adding a tag like "Feedback Provided" to easily identify them later.
