Resending Emails to Unopened Contacts for RSS and Batch Scheduled Campaigns

You can now reconnect with contacts who didn't open your RSS and Batch Schedule email campaigns. This feature was previously available only for Send Now campaigns, but is now extended to give you more ways to improve engagement across all your email marketing efforts.

What This Feature Offers

This update provides support for resending emails to unopened contacts in both RSS and Batch Schedule campaigns. You can use a simple interface to schedule follow-up emails with custom subject lines, helping you reach more of your audience effectively.

Using the Resend to Unopened Feature

Follow these steps to resend your campaign to contacts who haven't opened it:

  1. Navigate to Your Sent Campaigns
Go to Marketing > Emails > Campaigns and find your RSS or Batch Schedule campaign in the list.
  2. Open the Campaign Options
Click the three dots (⋮) on the right side of the campaign entry.
  3. Select Resend to Unopened
Choose "Resend to Unopened" from the dropdown menu that appears.
  4. Customize Your Resend
Enter a new subject line (optional but recommended) and select when you want the resend to be delivered.
  5. Schedule the Resend
Click "Schedule" to queue the email. It will only be sent to contacts who didn't open the original campaign.

Best Practices for Resending

  • Try a different subject line to see if it improves open rates
  • Allow enough time between the original send and the resend for contacts to open the email
  • Review engagement metrics after resending to understand what works best for your audience

Note: A batch resend feature for multiple campaigns is currently in development and will be available in a future update.
