Setting a Default Dashboard

Establishing a default dashboard helps your team stay focused by making the most important data the first thing they see when opening the dashboard section. This guide explains how to set one.

Steps to Set a Default Dashboard

Follow these steps to designate a dashboard as the default for all users.

  1. Navigate to the Dashboard
Go to the dashboard you wish to set as the default. This should be the dashboard that contains the key metrics and reports your team uses most frequently.

  2. Open the Dashboard Menu
In the top right corner of the dashboard, click the three-dot menu icon.

  3. Select Set as Default Dashboard
From the menu, choose the option to set the dashboard as the default.

  4. Confirm Your Selection
A confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm your choice to finalize the setting.

Important Information

  • Permissions Required
Only users with an Account Admin role, or an Agency role that has full access to dashboards, can set a default dashboard.

  • Viewing Permissions
For a dashboard to be set as the default, all team members must have at least view permission for it.

  • Non-Deletable Default Dashboards
A dashboard that is set as the default cannot be deleted. You must first assign a different dashboard as the default before you can delete the original one.

  • Default vs. Pinned Dashboards
The default dashboard is the landing page for all users. A pinned dashboard is a personal bookmark that an individual user can set for quick access.

If you encounter an issue where your default dashboard was changed unexpectedly after a recent update, you can reset it by following the steps above. A patch has been deployed to resolve a known issue, but if problems persist, please contact our support team for assistance.
