Using Global Custom Colors for Brand Consistency

What Are Global Custom Colors?

Global Custom Colors are centrally managed brand colors stored in your CRM's Global Settings. These colors are synchronized across your entire account, meaning any change you make to a color updates automatically everywhere it is used—such as in emails, funnels, forms, and pages. They appear by default in every color picker throughout the platform.

How Do Global Custom Colors Differ from Design Kit Colors?

Design Kit Colors are quick-access colors available within design builders, but they do not sync across assets. Updating a Design Kit Color does not change existing designs. In contrast, Global Custom Colors are stored at the brand level and feature two-way synchronization. Update a color once, and the change applies everywhere it is used.

Key difference: Design Kit Colors are static and for quick access; Global Custom Colors are dynamic and ensure brand consistency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will changing a Global Color update my existing assets?

A: Yes. Global Custom Colors are two-way synced, so any change reflects instantly across all designs where that color is applied.

Q: Why don’t I see Global Colors in the color picker?

A: The Global Colors section only appears if you have added at least one color in Global Settings.

Q: Can I import my existing custom value-based colors?

A: Yes. You can import them from the Custom Values section into Global Settings. This creates a copy and does not move the custom value-based colors.

Q: How is this different from Design Kit colors?

A: Design Kit colors are for quick access only and do not sync. Global Custom Colors sync across all assets.

Q: Can agencies use this for client onboarding?

A: Absolutely! Agencies can clone funnels or emails and simply update the Global Colors to instantly rebrand for new clients.
