Reporting Translation Issues from the CRM Interface
To ensure the CRM platform is accessible and easy to use for a global audience, Agency Owners and Agency Admins can report translation issues directly from within the interface. This feature provides a streamlined way to flag text that is incorrect, unclear, or missing, helping to improve the quality of the platform's localization.
Who Can Submit Translation Feedback?
This functionality is available exclusively to users with agency-level administrative permissions.
- Available to: Agency Owners and Agency Admins.
- Not available to: Sub-account users, location-level users, or any user whose platform language is set to English.
Even when an Agency Owner or Admin is working inside a sub-account, they will have access to the reporting tool, but the icon will remain hidden from the sub-account's own users.
When to Use the Translation Feedback Tool
This tool is specifically designed for reporting issues related to the language and wording displayed in the CRM's user interface.
Use it for:
- Text that is translated incorrectly.
- Wording that is unclear or confusing.
- Text that is missing a translation.
- Instances where English text appears instead of the selected language.
- Problems with labels, buttons, or menu items in the selected language.
Do not use it for:
- General product bugs or feature requests.
- Billing, login, or account setup issues.
- Questions about configuring workflows, emails, or other CRM features.
For these other types of issues, please use the standard support or feedback channels.
How to Submit a Translation Report
Follow these steps to report a translation issue from the page where you encounter it.
- Log into the CRM as an Agency Owner or Agency Admin.
- Navigate to the specific page where you see the problematic translation.
- Look for the translation feedback icon in the top navigation bar. This icon is only visible when your platform language is set to a language other than English.
- Click the icon to open the "Report Translation Issue" panel.
- Select the category that best describes the issue (e.g., incorrect translation, unclear wording, missing translation).
- Provide a screenshot of the area where the issue appears. This gives the review team crucial visual context.
- In the description field, briefly explain what is wrong and, if possible, suggest what the correct or clearer wording should be.
- Submit the report.
Benefits of In-App Reporting
Submitting feedback directly from the interface offers several advantages:
- Efficiency: Report issues instantly without leaving your current page.
- Context: Screenshots and page location provide precise details for the localization team.
- Quality: Your direct feedback helps improve the platform's translations for all users.
