My Affiliate Commission Appears Incorrect

Understanding Your Affiliate Commission

If the commission amount shown in your CRM affiliate portal does not match what you expected, there are several common reasons this might occur.

Promotional Pricing Periods

During special promotional events, such as seasonal sales, the CRM may offer discounted pricing to new customers. When a referral signs up during one of these promotions, your commission will be calculated based on the discounted subscription amount, which may be lower than the standard rate.

Prorated Upgrades

If a customer you referred upgrades their subscription plan partway through a billing cycle, the commission for that upgrade will be prorated. This means the commission amount will reflect the value of the upgrade for the remaining days in the billing cycle, not the full monthly or annual cost.

Customer Refunds

If a customer you referred receives a refund from the CRM, this will be reflected in your commission balance as a negative amount. A negative balance does not mean you owe money; it simply indicates that future commission earnings will first need to offset this negative amount before you become eligible for a payout.
