Integrating Your CRM Chat Widget with Wix

Engage with your website visitors in real-time by adding your CRM's live chat widget directly to your Wix site. This guide covers two methods for embedding the chat widget code.

Obtaining the Chat Widget Code

Before you begin, you'll need to copy the embed code from your CRM:

1. Navigate to the Sites section in your CRM dashboard.
2. Select the Chat Widget option.
3. Click the Get Code button to copy the provided HTML snippet to your clipboard.

Method 1: Adding Code to All Pages via Wix Settings

This method places the chat widget on every page of your Wix website:

1. Log into your Wix account and access your website's dashboard.
2. Click Settings in the left-hand menu.
3. Select Custom Code under the Advanced tab.
4. Click Add Custom Code in the main section.
5. In the pop-up window, paste your chat widget code into the code field.
6. Configure the following options:
   • Name: Enter a descriptive name for your code
   • Add Code to Pages: Select "All Pages" and choose "Load code once"
   • Place Code In: Choose "Head"
7. Click Apply to save your changes.

The chat widget will now appear on every page of your Wix site.

Method 2: Adding Code to Specific Pages via Wix Editor

Use this method if you want to place the chat widget on specific pages only:

1. Sign into your Wix account and open the Wix Editor for your site.
2. Click the plus (+) icon in the left menu to access Add Elements.
3. Choose Embed from the sidebar menu.
4. Select Embed HTML under Popular Embeds.
5. Click on the Code section in the new HTML box that appears on your page.
6. Paste your chat widget code into the text field and click Update.
7. Close the HTML Settings box.

The widget will now be visible within the HTML box on your selected page.
