Manage Comments in Social Planner
What Is Comment Management?
Comment Management in Social Planner allows you to view and respond to comments on your social media posts from a single dashboard. You can manage conversations directly within the CRM, eliminating the need to switch between different social platforms.
Note: Currently, only comments from posts published through Social Planner are supported. Comments on posts published directly on social platforms (natively) will not appear here. Support for additional platforms is under development.
Key Benefits of Comment Management
- Centralized Inbox: View all comments alongside your scheduled posts.
- Real-Time Engagement: Maintain consistent engagement by liking and replying to comments promptly.
- Threaded Conversations: Manage detailed discussions with nested replies.
- Time Efficiency: Respond to comments without leaving Social Planner.
- Quick Cleanup: Mark all unread comments as read in bulk for a selected platform and filtered view.
What You Can Do
These features help you respond quickly, keep conversations organized, and highlight important interactions without exiting the CRM.
Replying to Comments
Respond directly to top-level comments, preserving author names, emojis, and GIFs for a native feel. Fast, branded replies can strengthen relationships and drive further engagement.
Liking Comments
Quickly like comments to acknowledge followers. Each like is recorded on Facebook and contributes to engagement metrics, potentially improving post reach.
Mark All Comments as Read
Use the Mark All as Read option to clear the unread count for the selected platform and active filters. This action does not remove comments; you can still view and reply to them afterward.
Responding to Threaded Comments
Click the arrow next to a parent comment to view and reply to nested threads, keeping multi-person conversations organized.
Smart Filters (Latest vs Top)
Use the dropdown above the inbox to switch views:
- Latest: Displays the most recent activity.
- Top: Sorts comments by relevance or engagement level.
Using Mentions in Replies
Tag Facebook Pages or public profiles by typing “@” followed by at least three characters. A list of matching pages will appear, allowing you to credit partners or acknowledge customers without leaving the CRM.
