Using Keyboard Shortcuts in Workflow Builder
Boost Your Workflow Building Speed with Keyboard Shortcuts
Speed up your automation design by using keyboard shortcuts within the CRM's Advanced Workflow Builder. These shortcuts let you perform common tasks like duplicating workflow branches and navigating the canvas without using your mouse, all accessible from a convenient on-screen overlay. On a Mac, use the Command (⌘) key; on Windows or Linux, use the Control (Ctrl) key.
What Are Keyboard Shortcuts in the Builder?
Keyboard shortcuts are key combinations that execute commands directly, such as cutting, copying, pasting, zooming, and saving. Press the K key (or click the keyboard icon button) to open an overlay that displays all available shortcuts, organized into easy-to-read tabs for quick reference.
Key Benefits
- Build workflows significantly faster by reducing repetitive mouse clicks.
- Duplicate or move entire branches of actions with a single keystroke.
- Navigate large workflow canvases efficiently using arrow keys and zoom controls.
- Improve accessibility and reduce strain for users who prefer keyboard navigation.
- Learn commands quickly with the organized overlay interface.
Accessing the Keyboard Shortcuts
To view the available shortcuts, open any workflow in the Advanced Builder. Press the K key on your keyboard, or click the keyboard icon button located in the upper-left area of the builder.
